Community Guidelines
Recess Block works because neighbors trust each other. These guidelines apply to everything you post, list or send in the app.
- Be kind and respectful to every neighbor. No harassment, bullying, threats or discrimination.
- Protect children's privacy. Never share a child's full name, school, schedule or photo, or anyone's exact home address, in posts or listings.
- Keep it family-friendly. No hateful, sexual or violent content.
- Share, don't sell. Lend, borrow, give away or ask. No selling, advertising or spam.
- Meet safely. Meet in public or community places, and adults handle every exchange.
- Be who you say you are. Use a name your neighbors will recognize, and be honest about any school or group you represent.
- Report anything that feels wrong. Use the report button on any post, message or profile. A moderator reviews every report within 24 hours and removes people who break these rules.
If you believe a child is in danger, call 911 first, then report it in the app.
